How to Remove Norton Antivirus and Security Products
Printer Friendly Version

Among the most frequently asked questions that I get is how to uninstall Norton anti-virus and security solutions. Maybe its because trial versions of these items were preinstalled when the customer purchased the computer, or maybe you want to uninstall Norton antivirus and install another antivirus program product.Norton customer service phone number

I've even received mail from computer users attempting to put in an antivirus product and they are told to uninstall Norton till they are able to move despite the fact that it appears Symantec products are not running on the system.

I'm also impressed at how many viruses strike Norton and Symantec products especially and disable them so they could wreak havoc on the computer.

Our experience with Norton anti-virus has been mostly favourable. It seemed that all successive version appears to add greater functionality since it got slower and slower to work with. Lately, Norton has improved its speed, but I receive computers that have problems with Norton and I must uninstall it to make the computer work.Norton helpline phone number

Even though I wrote a post on how best to speed up the windows boot process, one of the best ways always is always to disable Norton and install a free antivirus product. I have also experienced situations where internet access is completely closed down and many times uninstalling most of the Norton Antivirus or anti-virus products on the computer fixes this problem.Norton support phone number
